Speedway 660 is the host for SpeedWeekend 2021 and the Atlantic Modified Tour will be in action twice – once on Friday evening, September 3rd at 7:30pm for a non-point exhibition event and once on Sunday, September 5th in the Northside Auto Parts 35. The Northside Auto Parts 35 will serve as the eighth point race on the Atlantic Modified Tour in 2021 and final stop at the Geary, New Brunswick oval for the year. The All Star Auto Center 35 is the second of four trips to the historic North Shore New Brunswick oval on the year and is a part of Firecracker Night at the speedway. (FREDERICTON, NB – June 27th, 2021) – Reigning Atlantic Modified Tour champion Yves McCray (Neguac, NB) took home his first win of 2021 on Saturday evening at Speedway 660 in Geary, New Brunswick. McCray secured the Bryn Enterprises 35, Round Three of 12 in the Atlantic Modified Tour point championship, with a pass of Braxton Stafford (Miramichi, NB) with five laps to go. Stafford, who won the heat race, had paced the field for most of the 35-lap distance but a mechanical failure forced the No. 91 to the sidelines in the closing laps. McCray had sat in third until just past the halfway point behind Stafford and Joe Hoyt (Waasis, NB) before making the move on Hoyt in the second half of the 35-lap event.
